I have went to many shows at the Wagon Wheel over the years, and I just want to say each one leaves me thinking, “Now, THIS was the best show yet!” Notable shows that I wish I could re-experience are Singing in the Rain, The Wizard of Oz, Elf, The Addams Family, Footloose, the list goes on. I can’t believe Warsaw has such a gem of a theatre here. I always anticipate seeing what each summer season will bring!
The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is a really unique and fun setting for professional theater performances. We started going last year and have enjoyed multiple performances here!
The “in the round” seating provides good views for all. And the production team and directors try to ensure all four sections get the attention of the cast throughout the shows.
Creative use of the overhead “fly space” was great and sets have to be rethought to accommodate the non-existent stage wings. So productions don’t have a huge set usually, but often reimagine the story in ways that work well in this space.
Recommendation is to go see any show possible at this fantastic regional theater. And keep the arts ALIVE!!
Great venue that I have had the pleasure of visited several times, as they have the good taste of scheduling Collin Raye. It is in a location that is easy to get to, and designed in the round, so there are no bad seats. The acoustics are really good here, the seats comfortable, pictures are allowed. They have a nice lobby, with adult beverages, and bathrooms with enough stalls that you are not waiting for lengthy periods.
My family and I really enjoyed the show!! The actors were terrific! The seats, however, are not comfortable at all. They definitely could use an update.
We love the Wagon Wheel! We are now season subscribers and absolutely love the shows performed. Stunning sets. Professional actors! And a heart for community theater!

First visit to the Wagon Wheel since coming with my parents when I was probably 10 or 12. We had a wonderful time with our granddaughters seeing the Little Mermaid. We were very impressed with the entire experience. The performers were excellent, staging, lighting, and especially Crew seemed flawless. It’s so nice to have an intimate venue and wonderful performing arts here in Indiana. Doesn’t look like there is a bad seat in the place.
Loved performance. Disappointed that it is not made more clear regarding crossing the stage area prior to the performance. Need larger seats they get quite uncomfortable.
